PC gaming is not dead. I bought 150 games for it in the last 6 months. I guess I shouldn't have bought Dead Space though. It's funny how they sold it to us while announcing a 2nd game and then just announce it will never be released on my platform.

Just like playing a GH or RB guitar is not like playing guitar, DJ Hero is not like scratching for real. However, in MY eyes, it'll be MUCH closer with DJ Hero than with the other ones before him.

I'm glad I pre-ordered the game. Joystiq do seem to have a grudge against this game. Personally, I find it refreshing. I liked playing a a bunch of rythm game, even if I don't listen to either Rock or any of these mashup. I like exploring new style of music. I actually like the fact that we get a new peripherical. It takes a lot less room than any drumkit + guitar peripherical and it'll be a lot of fun.

It's basically the southern part of the forest up to Dol Guldur. Well... it's another pretty big landmass with more than 100 new quest and tons of new content like skirmishes that are essentially instances that are not restricted to a group size or to a certain level and that contain some random elements. They can also be joined from anywhere in the world. Pretty interesting stuff.

They still think video-games are toys. It's the same here in Quebec. However, they also claim that the youth lack general knowledge, then post things like that.

Bitching LOTRO? While LOTRO isn't perfect, it's a really enjoyable game. DDO? It's the new game I play. I even putted $30 of new quests in it. Turbine do real quality stuff. The MMO industry is really hard however. Bioware never ever finished ONE MMO! Turbine has at least 3, currently working, MMO. They're masters of the genre. WoW is really an exception and a lot of people play it because they ignore the existance of the others. Guild Wars is fun... but it has flaws too.. lot of flaws. DDO is innovative and not much people played it because Atari couldn't advertise it correctly. Now that it's free to play, tons or people are in-game and I'm sure a lot of them will play.

I have a lot of respect for Bioware and Blizzard but saying they would automaticly do a better than Turbine at doing an MMO? Forget it. Bioware lack the experience. Blizzard never did anything that wasn't their own story (Diablo, SC, Warcraft). If it was blizzard, we wouldn't see anything released until 2015 either. Seriously, people should stop bashing Turbine for no reasons.
