I don't understand. They said SWTOR was the "biggest launch in MMO history" with over 2 mil subscribers? Is this report wrong?

Do analysts just have unrealistically high expectations? They said the 3DS was a failure at launch, yet now it's raking in the bucks.

Are stock holders just incredibly impatient jerks, or do they not understand the industries they supposedly work in?

The video at the source link says it all. This mad grey market is ruining regular ipad 2 sales across the country, particularly here in NYC.

forget whatever numbers Apple gives next month. they will obviously be distorted since a large portion of "sold" ipads were carted off to china and elsewhere.

this reminds me of a less-important "who killed the electric car" scenario. this lame attempt at digital is meant to kill it off. the irony is print sales wont stay strong enough to keep these guys alive. they'll eventually tank, Disney and Warner Bros will absorb the IP's, and we wont have Spider-man comics anymore. there may not be an 'itunes' for comics that will save them.
