Teryarch's best achievement is porting Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 to the Dreamcast. This company has never had an original idea of their's pan out for the good. They're using IW as a ghostwriter and banking off of their game engine and game, basically. Treyarch is the pot head in school who copied everyone's work. IW made 1, 2, 4, and 4.5. 1 & 4 are all time classics. 2 & 4.5 are above average games. Treyarch made 3 which almost ruined the franchise and 3.5 which was very average. No thanks, Treyarch.

I wonder if they'll update the Beastie Boys, both Clintons, and Al Gore since they were in the original game. Would be funny if they kept the same pictures from back then. When was that? Like '93 or '94?

@Hexxeh Has the ability to connect to hidden networks been worked out yet? That's the main reason why I gave up on your previous release due to the fact that I keep my network hidden with no password out of sheer laziness and living around less than creative neighbors.

@Celz Thanks for the legitimate response and not taking the troll route like scorpeo. I agree that they aren't really wrong but for the time being these supposed 4G technologies are not exactly up to spec, so to speak. I'm sure that will change once they have time to mature.

@kenmid Except that at the current standard, WiMax is not actually 4G. To be 4G, a service must be able to obtain throughput of 100MB/s on the move with 1GB/s while stationary. I believe Clear thinks that with the next revision to the standard, their WiMax products/networks will be able to obtain this while, in reality, it remains to be seen. 4G networks must be IP-based so scorpeo is on the right track with his/her comments. I believe 4G only relates to the data side of the network while a CDMA or whatever technology Sprint uses will handle the traditional voice calls and such.

I am buying this day 1, regardless, as I'm sick of MW2. MW2 isn't as ground breaking as MW1 was and there are way too many cheap exploits that people constantly take advantage of. I never got into Battlefield games other than 1943 so I've been neglecting this series. Bad Company 1 was made into a big joke in their ads so I couldn't take that seriously but I played the demo for this and cannot wait to see the full game. I just hope the multiplayer holds up well enough for me to justify trading in MW2.

As for the day 1 DLC maps. I see why people are upset because it screams another EA screw job but I don't think DICE wants to do that to its fanbase willingly. I buy all my games new anyway as I am afraid of other people's germs (j/k). There's just something crisp about a brand new game.

I emailed Tecmo that they should re-release Tecmo Super Bowl and not this one as TSB was far superior. You should do the same.

I have a 40 gig and my system has frozen up on me twice while loading the GoW Collection. It is the opening cut scene from GoW 1 that does it. Well, I shouldn't say that since I haven't really made it that far into the game yet.
