You just gotta love both, I really enjoy the new additions to LotRO but some of the core gameplay on DDO keeps me coming back every so often! I would choose to get the Lifetime in DDO if possible, because I already have it for LotRO!

Lotro has an open grouping system already in place, it's just not used that much, just go to your social panel, and open fellowships, and place you group in there. I really wish people would use what's in place, it really works!

As a founding lifetime member that has lost interest in this game, it has definitely brought my attention back to it. I even logged in today, haha! I will probably bring several of my friends into the game for the to experience it, and have quite a renewed love for the game.

At least that's what I'm hoping to happen, if not, I had a good 2-1/2 to 3 years of solid play time, money well spent!

I can't wait to see how they deal with both space combat and ground combat in the same game, I also love beta tests because you get to actually help improve the game

The community in LotRO is definitely key. Everything else is just icing, if it weren't for the community I don't think I'd still be playing.

I loved the way the books put more details into light, but some of that stuff would have just been boring for the movie. It's basically a tie depending on how much time I have.

Books vs Game vs Movie though? LotRO wins hands down.

The site is now back up, and seems to be working much better.
