EXCLUSIVE: First shots of the Hennessey Performance Venom GT

Dec 10th 2009 1:39AM (Autoblog)
No one should be voting this "vetteracer" kid up, anyway. He's a total retard, and just as much a "bs artist" as he claims this Hennessey guy is. People, you need to stop voting people up just because of their position on a subject- it makes you guys look desperate.

VIDEO: Thermahelm motorcycle helmet is swell. Err... not swell

LS7:

The brain is swelling... It's not just the increase in flow of blood, it's the increase of blood itself. It's like a fire. A small fire isn't going to produce much heat, but more of it- a bigger fire, will. There is more blood in a smaller area, and that's what builds up heat.

Xbox Live moderators getting serious about Modern Warfare 2's Javelin glitch

Dec 3rd 2009 7:29PM (Joystiq)
Here's how it works, you have your Javelin- you switch to it, you hold the right bumper to pull out your Semtex, and then while holding that button, rather than throwing the Semtex, you press Y to bring your Javelin back out. When you die, your Javelin will fire, killing anyone within 20 feet of you. Unlike Martyrdom, the effects are instantaneous and much more powerful.

Can't tell you how much fun this is- I don't care if I get banned for a day, running into someone and watching them run away from you because they know what's coming is just too funny... Following them around, waiting for their unsuspecting team mate to shoot... Oh... Down rank me if you want, talk shit on me as well- it's cheap, dirty, but ridiculously fun.

But it won't... They're probably afraid it would demolish nearly all of their list, and the fact that it's American... Well, they just can't have that.

Toyota extends Tundra rust recall to include 2000-03 models, totalling 110,000 trucks

Nov 25th 2009 12:39PM (Autoblog)
Nice story, Jason. The only way that could be possible is if it was ENCOURAGED... No, not just neglect, but purposely encouraging rust. Personal experience with dozens of newer model Chevy pickups- rust is minimal, and when it does occur, it's on the rockers, and that's it, and even then, this recall isn't because of BODY rust, it's because of FRAME rust... IE: The frames are rusting all the way through in a short amount of time due to sub-par quality metals and non-existent anti-rust precautions, causing SAFETY issues. My 78 Chevy's frame is more rust free than many NEWER Toyotas, which I know have been far less abused and neglected as my truck.

VIDEO: 2010 Dodge Viper ACR makes the rounds at Laguna Seca, sets track record

Aki, the Viper in general is a very "street unfriendly" car. That's the way it's been since the start of it's production, the reason being is that it doesn't have all those electronic nannies like the GTR and ZR1 have. I can guarantee you that the ride in a GTR or ZR1 is no better than that of a Viper or ACR.

The SRT-10 Ram isn't the only Dodge pickup with a V10... Unless you don't have an SRT-10... But still... The V10 in the 3/4 and 1 ton trucks (cast iron, unlike the aluminum Viper engine in the SRT-10 Ram), are nearly identical, simply without the performance options. Both are pushrod V10s with nearly identical blocks aside from material.
