Valve is doing a fucking excellent job keeping Team Fortress 2 fresh. I don't play that often but every time I see this stuff I get pulled back in.

I think you misunderstood Scott's point. We don't like Mirror's Edge better than Ass Creed because it's "closer to the real thing". We just like to have a little more involvement, instead of hitting a button and watching a little cutscene play out.
Sure, the Mirror's Edge parkour system is probably trickier than Ass Creed's acrobatics, but you get a better sense of accomplishment when you pull off a sweet move.
