Konami ships 1 million Castlevania: Lords of Shadow copies, coy about sales

Love the art and music in this game, it's gorgeous, but the dialogue is hilariously bad and it just feels like the game drags on and on. I'm only about halfway through and it's already feeling repetitive and tiresome.

Section 8: Prejudice details and media drop in

@Dr V It's coming out in 2011 so it won't be right on the eve of Halo: Reach. This is just the initial press release. I'm sure they will do much more marketing when the game gets closer to its release date.

Enslaved preview: The apocalypse goes green

This game really crept up on me from being only mildly interested to watching more videos and hearing more about it and gradually getting more and more stoked about its release. At this point it has become one of my most anticipated games of the year. Hope it doesn't disappoint.

Inafune: Japanese devs have to 'get humble'

@Mr Khan Maybe in Japan. In the U.S., players want a more immersive experience. If all they care about is the Japanese market they can keep making this crappy, shallow games, but don't expect me to buy them.

Inafune: Japanese devs have to 'get humble'

That's a good way to put it. I see all of these cheesy, retreaded, arcade-style games Japanese developers keep putting out and I'm just repulsed by them. Absolutely no interest level. I'd love to see them move into the 21st century; hire some real writers, tone down the over-the-top art style, focus more on immersion and innovation, and generally put out more mature, subdued, and inventive products.

@Claws Your memory is a bit faulty, then. N64 games were never anywhere near that advanced.

Terrible writing? Check. Terrible voice acting? Check . Terrible art direction? Check. Must be a Japanese-made game.

@ZayneIco No.

Deus Ex meets Deus Ex.
