I played DDO from just before it's release and I have to say that the graphics looked good. I see that others had 'twitchy' problems, the same as I had and I had thought that it was 'cause my puter had the minimum cpu speed.
The biggest reason I switched to WoW is for the solo play. DDO does make it very easy to find a group or start one, but sometimes, especially early in the morning when I play, there are not enough people on to get a group started. What am I supposed to do then? Just run around the small city and wait for enough people to get online?
I realize D&D was created to be played as a group, but that is not always possible, sometimes you hafta go-it alone.
DDO solo play now available
