Picture it: top secret game design manual found in dumpster outside big game publisher's HQ

Shikoku88Henro - that implies that it takes talent in making these. Right now I'm seeing no talent.

Bloody hell... I never thought the internet could shock me but people actually find these witty? Seriously where's the wit? Do I need to be brain dead to understand these or something?
Today my Armando Iannucci Show DVD arrived. Try watching that for examples of quirky humour, or try Have I got News for you for real, actual wit.

i don't know how or why but everytime you post one of these I laugh my face off! seriously! how could anyone have thought that a bit of paper with a shitly drawn graph could be a funny cultural revolution!

Basically they're bollocks. Can someone fire Cole for the day and increase C. Grants wage?

How the Wii was engineered (or "born")

Oct 2nd 2006 9:05PM (Joystiq)
The low power usage is important to me too. I haven't used a proper desktop PC in years, the study computer using up so many plug sockets where I'm here using my iMac (1 plug), extra monitor (1 more) and amp (1 more). The fact the Wii is quiet and low power is just a nice touch in my books. I remember leaving my Cube on overnight just to get Mewtwo in Smash Bros Melee and that was a bloody nightmare, so conscious of the hum.

I like things quiet :)

Grant brings Joystiq back to entertaining, hail our saviour. This is top I've just spent the past 10 minutes banging out Halifax's 'Harold', Alan Partridge and my mates show them all around. haha. excellent. Everyone involved should smile.

Nintendo expects Mom to leave notes on your Wii

Oct 2nd 2006 11:54AM (Joystiq)
firstly - You guys must be buying cheap ice cream. You're supposed to let real ice cream 'soften' for 5 minutes at room temperature, or up to an hour in the fridge. Maybe it's different for the nasty stuff?

Secondly. It's a nice little feature. Granted my mother wouldn't leave me notes like that on the Wii, it'd be more "stop going online it's draining the bandwidth" or "X family member is coming up! so don't be on this when they get here" or whatever.

PS3's Kubrickian kiosk

Anonymous - there is? Oh wait, no they don't. My GAMEs and GameStations all have their own consoles, controllers and TV's hooked up. 360, Gamecube, PS2 and DS (no PSP).

The PS3's worst enemy

I can only vouch for this. Hell if I'm buying a PS3, I'm not even buying a Wii myself. But I might pick up a PS2 for the few games that looked good on it. Okami is supposed to be almost as good as Zelda. Or I might just forget about it all together...

I'm not an Apple fan. I'm an Apple user, with a dual boot to XP for the only thing OSX doesn't give me - games. Which, incidentally, got its first virus 6 hours in.
