I'm thinking the opposite might happen: Apple will finally have to put out a major update instead of the dinky features they slap on a couple times a year. Maybe we'll finally get to import custom EQ curves, a taller screen that auto-rotates 16:9 content, a better color-depth to actually convince me it's worth watching Hollywood movies and photos on an iPod, and a handful of other things Apple missed the boat on years and years ago. I don't know if I'm buying iPod or Zune, but I'm willing to wait a while and give Apple one last chance to get their poop together. About the only advantage they have is bigger capacities. Only 30GB for the Zune? That's probably the one factor that made me decide to give Apple a chance to return fire.
Too bad Crapcom can't get that game to any other stores. My brother keeps getting automated phone calls telling him the preorder will be in "this afternoon" two days in a row. Half the Best Buy's are giving out conflicting delays while the other half got the game, and Best Buy's site even downgraded to back order status.
