Engadget & Joystiq live from Sony's E3 2007 keynote

Killzone..nothing new. MGS4, nothing new, LittleBig, nothing new, GT5, nothing new. Uncharted, nothing new, Heavenly Sword, nothing new. Lair, nothing new.

Guild Wars...already on the PC. A similar game, called Huxley, is coming to the PC and 360. So that is nothing new.

Home = nothing new (Second Life).

We saw all this stuff already. This was the most boring ever.

Wow...this was just as much of a flop as Microsoft's and Nintendos. Sony has been failing them all.

Microsoft's may have been boring, but they had some very impressive statistics, awesome games coming down the line, a killer arcade line up, and not to mention all the new Disney, Miramax, MGM, Touchstone Pictures and Hollywood pictures older movies released in HD, and all NEW movies now and in the future.

They announced some exclusive titles as well. It was all about games and software, and that is what gamers want.

60 FPS: Football will be better on the 360

Jul 3rd 2007 8:58AM (Joystiq Xbox)
The PS3 will NEVER be able to match the power of the Xbox 360 power because of the 360's more powerful GPU, and it's unified 512 mb of RAM (vs. the 256mb on the PS3).

The SPE's in the PS3 are all being used by almost every game, as is every core on the 360. However, all developers have yet to maximize the efficiency of their coding to properly use them.

Just because the PS3 doesn't have the power or the graphics like the 360 doesn't mean it's not a good system. It will still sell, and sell really well with it's exclusives. However, the 360 is obviously going to win this round. The PS3 sales continue to sink to all time lows, and the 360 sales are selling in record numbers compared to a year ago.

The PS3 cannot share 512mb at once in the same environment as the 360 does. THAT IS FALSE Nick.

The 360 can process it's memory up to 10 times faster than the PS3.

Unreal III = Unreal Engine, which can run on the Wii. Unreal III was scaled down from GOW in textures in order for the PS3 to handle the textures, and have an equal appearance on both consoles.

"18. @14, you are a moron. The PS3 uses dynamic modules. In addition it can run in a 256+256 environment because it moves data in and out of memory 8 times faster than the 360's cores.

To bring things to earth for you, why don't you simply explain to us all how the PS3 will be running Unreal Tourney III, which is what GOW is built on, and is essentially GOW with different modeling, textures, and controls, but couldn't run GOW itself?

The misinformation posted in replies on this site is astounding..."

Everything that Nick has posted is completely wrong. PS3 fanboys are on patrol guys. It's damage control time!

Not to mention, it hasn't been announced whether or not the titles are 1080p or 720p on either system. Both systems as of late have been both getting 1080p titles.
