WITHOUT BLU-RAY, PS3 COULD NOT PLAY ITs OWN GAMES which are on blu ray discs.

Best solution: Stick with your PS2, or go buy a slimmy. What's wrong with the ps2? they finally worked out all the launch hardware problems so grab one now. PS3 is good for.......troubleshooting bad hardware?

If sony just fucking sucked it up at the beginning, and joined up WITH toshiba on the HDDVD instead of greed-fucking their way through the whole blu-ray creation process, they'd be making a KILLING right now instead of losing that killing. IF there was one next gen movie format, people would almost certainly be willing to adopt early. The blu-ray disc is a fantastic idea. Buuut since sony is at the helm, it has become a giant clusterfuck of mixed codecs, and drm issues. Way to go sony...short term loss for longtime gain? way to fuck us sony

i tried it early this morning and youtube did NOT work....buuuut then just kept browsing through other websites, came back to youtube and everything was fine. Maybe Wii Opera downloads upgreades on the fly?
