It's possible for FF13 to be released this year in Japan. Remember that FF12 was supposed to be released in 2003/4 but problems during development lead to delays. FF13 started being made a while back as a PS2 title but then last year SE decided to change it to a PS3 title. As long as there are no problems like there were for FF12, this game could make it to Japan this year.
Noooooooo Poor FF13 and MGS4. The PS3 cases are horrific. I've always hated the spider-man font but never imagined the cases to be this bad. I'm not bothered by the shape or the clear case, it's just like what #10 Dracula says, it's too messed up. The black PS3 letters on the red background on the side is ugly. I hope the UK boxes are better.
Wii games are on proprietary discs. Unique Nintendo made discs, just like the gamecubes except dvd size with more space. This allows for better security of the discs. So Wii games are not on dvds like the 360.
I don't think that Nintendo would release a newer model with dvd playback as they know that would anger a lot of people.
I hope they put Saturn/Gameboy and GBcolor games on the Virtual Console.
All you ppl saying 'what's the point when you probably already own a PC with browser?'
What if it's already in use and you just want to watch a video on youtube, or check the news etc. While the main PC browser is being used, you can just use your console to do said functions.
My reason? I like the name better. :D Plus the logo is nicer too instead of HD-DVD being a simple extension of DVD.
Doesn;t matter for now though as It'll be years before I buy a next-generation DVD player and also years before I get a HDTV. For now, i'll stick with my standard definition materials and play on my Wii.
Whilse some games like tetris don't require a story, larger games can get dull if it isn't story-driven. Plus without stories games/films could be seen as pointless as a lot of people like to have a more interesting goal rather than 'kill all to win' for a game or 'look it's beautiful' for a film.
I think the list of importance goes:
1. Gameplay (Vital in order to enjoy playing the game) 2. Music (To grab attention) 3. Story (Bring interest and goals to the game) 4. Graphics ("Nice pictures")
I always watch cutscenses in games the first time through. Kingdom Hearts II is a good example of how a game with lots of cutscense should be. On KH2, every cutscene except the ending, is skippable (I spell that right?) as soon as you first play the game.
I should comment more on Joystiq - Get my views heard lol. :D

Good question: why doesn't the Xbox 360 have its own browser?
