my husband and I play together all the time on 2 different accounts, I'm actually the one that got him addicted. Sometimes it does cause grief between us because we have slightly different playing styles, but bottom line I'd rather play with him than 99% of the people out there. Atleast I can scream across the room at him =)
I first started playing WoW at the beginning of October,2005. It was also my first MMO. Before that, I would try anything and everything that was released on the 3 major consoles. A few games would catch and hold my attention now and then, but there wasn't one sole game that I would dedicate all of my time to. I put down WoW as of November to get in a lot of 360 time, I went through all the games on that console, dedicating much of my free time to beating Kameo and Condemed. That lasted until December at which time I picked WoW back up. Fast forward to this week, when I rented my first console games in 3 months! I'm splitting time between them equally though, but I'm sure once the rentals are due back that I will go back only to playing WoW.
two things seriously annoy me - one is when someone solo'ing pulls their aggro over to me, and invariably end up in the middle of it (ie, when at Sven, and someone solos Bride). The other is when people simply can not say THANK YOU! Numerous times I've joined a group to assist, only to be left hanging without a thanks.
Are these compilations going to be any different than the compilations already released? By that, I mean I already own the LSL and Space Quest series on CDs and all work perfectly fine on XP. The LSL edition also includes the graphically updated LSL 1. Having Kings Quest and Police Quest finally should be fun, however.
I'm a little dismayed by this, and the prices as they exist now are what's keeping me from buying more games on the arcade. Most of the games available on the arcade can be played in some form or another, for free, on the PC. I love bejeweled and is the only game I've actually bought, but realistically I can play the game for free on pogo (different same, same concept). I didn't need to at all, it was just something to keep me busy while the PC was being used. Any other game, I continue with the same reasoning... "well, I can play this for free on the emulators I've already got on the pc" (hence, no smashTV for me).
The chair is definately one of the most important external peripherals (a close second to mouse/keyboard position, I think) although I have to note that most expensive is not always the best. I had to cringe because the chair pictured is, in most circles, considered better for posture and egonomically correct. In my office, you need a doctor's note in order to have a chair as such. I find them hideously uncomfortable. The adjustable arms, while good in theory, have a tendency to slide down over time from the constant leaning I do on them. Without noticing, all of a sudden the arms are off by about an inch, and that throws off my shoulders - before I know it, I'm in severe pain. I bought a pretty cheap chair, with solid non-adjustable arms and a solid backing (another thing, the meshing on the chairs has give, so nothing really solid to support your back) and a decent amount of padding and it works just fine for me.
