I've actually starting thinking about RP'ing my character in FFXIV. It's rare that people talk aloud in public on my server (save for the occasional shouting) and I find it a bit dull while I go from location to location. So I am trying to nail down the specific "kind" of back story I want to establish for myself.
Anyways, I'm on Asiel Oren on the Palamecia server if anyone is curious. Thanks!
Um, I saw during the video there was a block for NHL (it was in the clip where they show the football stadium from the sky). Not sure how much the NHL will have or be involved in, but apparently not as much as MLB, NBA, etc.
I love when there's an article about energy consumption or conservation. almost immediately there's someone furiously typing away to be the first responder to remind the readers that the US is a huge energy waster. You remind of when I was in elementary school and the hall monitor's sole job was to remind everyone he was a hall monitor.
*word of advice, your line of reasoning ("the people need to be educated...yada yada) is wrong. your preaching to two types of people: the choir, and everyone else who doesn't give a damn.
BTW, I'm for energy consumption. I just get sick and tired of preaching about the US's energy consumption. Without other countries doing their part for using alternative means of energy consumption and working together for the benefit of ALL countries saving energy, were wasting our time. You're the equivalent of an @sshat on the freeway in the fast lane going 65 mph. You think your really righteous slowing us down from 80 mph, when in reality, the only people who give a damn are the people 5 lanes to the right.
I think this is newsworthy, but when I saw his "cabinet" I have to say it's really stupid now. WTF; the ipod sticking out the side of the cube? How uncool is that?
kudos for the emulator, but not for the cabinet design. that's just piss poor.
I think he would ask to be placed on tv singing that god-awful klondike bar song as a hypontized regressed 10 yr. old boy holding up his controller while playing Chronicles of Narnia in his Pj's.
Then he would giggle while smearing his klondike bar on his lips like everyone else does when they eat them....well, that's what I do when I eat those yummy bars of chocolatey goodness.
I really miss the arcades of old. I myself have become a collector for the sole reason of passing down the gaming goodness that I grew up with. I really miss the arcade atmosphere. The "future" was online gameplay: which has allowed 12-year-olds in all their pubescent glory cursing you out because you play better than them on the online consoles.
I miss the days where when you talked smack at a videogame, you better back it up with gameplay otherwise you got beat down.
Those were the days we would walk 3 miles barefoot in the snow to reach the nearest arcade...
i know where he was at in that photo: the atlantis at paradise island in the bahamas! i was there this time last year. awesome place and I am very jealous of him.
