ok, I may be a little late to the party, but did i just see a female commenter up there? Be still, my beating Joystiq. The future is now, video game nerds! Winking smiley faces all around! p.s. this game looks clever and fun as hell, although the levels seem a bit short. Let's hope they allow us to summon torture devices for Maxwell. I've always wanted to put 5th Level's cute little characters into an iron maiden. Will "water boarding" spawn a surfboard? Only time will tell.
I love how game companies like Capcom/SEGA tout these fairly old technologies like Kreed/2xsai as "HD upscaling" or some specially branded *new* feature when they've quite obviously aped it from emu devs that they've probably tried to sue out of existence in the past...quite possibly even (and i know this is a stretch) ported the original code! On another note: ohhhhh man, that soundtrack really grates on the ears...especially the character select screen..."gonna take you for a ri-i-ide". I'm already cringing at the thought of it again looped endlessly as my friend takes forever to carefully choose characters he'll probably lose with. my local gamestop has a PS2 MvC2 copy, NOT in the original box for a posh $80.00...at least this re-release might lessen the price hike associated with it being "rare/out of print"...wishful thinking much? Re-press the dang thing already, Capcom!
