Well Razer make some very good PC products. Using a couple right this moment. I need a new controller and this looks quite promising, especially since they seemed to have sorted out the d-pad. (more convincing than the new height-adjustable one that MS showed recently)
Also happy they made it wired - though I suppose they could have made a wireless version for those who do want that.
So I can see the debate got here way before I did - but I get no value from watching tool assisted speed runs.
To me it's like watching a video of an FPS played with an aimbot, or a lil' like watching a computer play chess against itself. There's no entertainment to be had in watching the actual game - more from the software running/the way it's executed, which lies less in gaming than it does in computer science.
I suppose people might enjoy these for knowing the prowess behind the tools maybe?
Seems like it's laying all it's eggs into one basket. I wouldn't even consider it because of the buttons. Just lay the buttons out more or less conventionally so that you can use this 150$ piece of equipment for more than just one game...
@Godmil Well not sure about the amount of different PC's you can have your games running on at once on the EA system but that let's you download and re-download your purchased software over it's platform.
I bought the 3 Battlefield 2 expansions and 2 BF2142 expansions via the EA system and you can download those again and again.
Don't think I've ever bought a full "main" game over the system yet though.
Also how come there was no mention on the 'stiq about at least the winners of Evo 2010? Seems like it's a pretty large gaming event to not even mention in the slightest.
The music as mentioned above is truly awesome. The 'select music' is one of my favourite game tracks. This YT vid uses it (the video itself is of something different but the music is from Guwange select) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K3CH4hskE_o
