Jan 9th 2011 4:37PM (Joystiq)Oblivion is incredibly generic compared to the world of Morrowind. Plus the ability to create your own spells was very different, if I remember correctly. I made a belt that gave me a tiny amount of "flotation" and an amulet that increased my jump strength by hundreds of points, but only for a second. I would activate the amulet, jump, and fly miles across the landscape. The whole "charge" aspect of oblivion kind of ruined that - what's the point of creating unique items if they're going to expire? I just didn't find any motivation.
