They changed the form, but I won't get to find out if it is fixed until I get home.

Same deal here... The format of the Owner ID on the form does not match what is on the user manual. I tried putting the 20 characters in anyway but it said invalid owner id. I submitted something through customer support. Haven't heard anything yet.

I am a day-one owner of the white DS lite, and acquired the crimson/black model last Friday.

I haven't done head-to-head tests to verify this, but have noticed that the screens on the crimson/black model seem to dim when tilting the device up or down. I don't recall that happening on the white one.

It would be easier if all of these were SEGA title, but it would be great if they were available at some point:
