To me personally it is.

I can't wait for this. I like playing my RPGs on handhelds anyway and glad I have both devices, so I can switch where I play my game depending upon my mood.

Although is the PSP really made for kids?

Not trolling, but their marketing has always seemed to target the older, "cooler" crowd, Naruto and Dragon Ball Z games aside.

I have to admit that I would be interested if Sony did enter the cellphone market and had two versions of the rumored PSP Go! (a cellphone version and an UMD-less version). Considering that the inclusion of UMD-less games plus a homebrew market (if they go that route), it could be an iPhone killer.

But then it would have to offer features other than games. And probably drop the PlayStation name altogether, in order to widen the appeal.

I think the ear piece is that little headphone bit on the right end of the screen.
