@ Kevin. not all Xbox users pay for live, your forgetting the silver level service and I don't recall Rare charging when they enabled Co-op over live.

I think the point that most people are trying to get across is this functionality should have been in the game, its not like buying some hourse armour so it looks pretty, its about what should have been there and what should be there for all users.

If this is the sort of Micro transaction Sony planed along then it might be time to get rid of my PS3

But thats and intresting move by Sony, but I can't see many gamers wanting to give up any CPU time to this. Good luck to those that do give up some cycles to a worthy cause.

Mike has a point the PS3 is BIG compared to the 360, But shockingly the 360 isn't htat much smaller than the 360. Could be very intresting to see the outcome.

When are games companies gonna learn that, making the console Pink isn't going to get girls into gaming.
I mean did they the big wigs really sit there and go:

Sony BW 1: "We need to increase the number of girls paying.... er playing"
Sony BW2: "Yeah at the EIEF they're going to say that we can get upto one billion dollars if we crack the girl market!"
Sony BW1: "Hmmmmm.......How can we do this?"
Sony BW2: "We could release a pink PSP and PS2!"
Sony: "Girls love pink!!!! we're on at a winner and we haven't had to spend a penny making software that might actually appeal to girls!"
