Didn't Socom4 use an online pass?

'Halo Anniversary has Kinect integration,' says Microsoft Studios' chief

Who would put a 360 on top of a PS3? Especially a phat model...the top's too round for that to be stable :/

Seriously...Kinect in this game can't be a good idea, can it?

@GamingColt It's not just BF3, it's BF3 on PS3. I'm glad we're finally getting to see it run on a console.

Metareview: Duke Nukem Forever

Jun 13th 2011 12:41PM (Joystiq)
I don't understand why people want reviewers to give Duke a break. I keep reading on different forums and here, even, that reviewers are being too harsh. I don't care how many setbacks a game has had, there's no excuse for shit. Randy Pitchford himself appears to believe that this is a quality product and expected nothing but PC Gamer level reviews (or higher). If he expected a quality game, why shouldn't we? Obviously the game's a mess and should've never seen the light of day. DNF was better left the butt of vaporware jokes and retained what little dignity it still had.

So....did he really just write that on the wall? I thought J.Mcelroy was joking about that on the Giantbombcast, apparently not.

Call of Duty Elite is the paid 'digital platform' from Beachhead Studios, built for MW3 [Update: Now with video!]

@TheDarkWayne No, you're right. I think I got a bit more agitated over this than I should have, but when outlets break embargo it really gets under my skin. Then, when the article that breaks embargo contains inaccuracies, it's inexcusable. The lack of journalistic integrity that I see here is reason enough for my first previous statements, in my opinion.

NOTE this is, in fact, my opinion.

@TrueBadkarma No, sorry. I should've made that more clear. If you read the source article, he says that LIVE is $10/month. Hence, no knowledge of the industry or a right to publish this information prior to embargo.

I love this....apparently LIVE has doubled in price recently. I'm not aware of ALL of the false information you guys keep referring to, obviously, but it's absurd to see the WSJ breaking this when they obviously have no legitimate knowledge of the industry.
