Your fourth chance to pick up a Creative World of Warcraft wireless headset

Oct 7th 2009 9:57PM (WoW)
I'd definitely listen to some Judas Priest/Halford stuff with them things.

Breakfast Topic: Did you meet your Brewfest goals?

Oct 6th 2009 12:40PM (WoW)
I started brewfest late this year but I earned the nickname 'lucky cow' cause either the mount or tankard dropped for me everytime I went. After seeing at least 8 tankards and a combination of 6 mounts drop (5 rams and 1 kodo) did I get two tankards and a kodo on the last day of brewfest. I would have preferred getting a ram seeing as how I'm a Tauren in game but I'll take the kodo after coming in second for 4 out of the 5 rolls for ram. Got my title on two characters as well so it was a good holiday for me.

Breakfast Topic: Most frustrating non-drop

Aug 6th 2009 12:04PM (WoW)
Has to be Grim Toll for me. I've actually seen it quite a few times on my healer alt I run through there every once in awhile now but never on my main. Trinkets are just an overall pain for me to get as both my characters now are wearing a combination of Uld 25 and Naxx 25 gear, yet neither have a trinket over ilevel 200. It's the only upgrade I need on my main but not even the Pyrite Infuser will drop off FL 10 for me either. /sigh

Second place would have to be the Amani War Bear from BC. I ran ZA till my eyes bled on my resto shaman, even getting as many upgrades I could from there. I even got the trinket that summons the little gnomes to help you (forgot its name) but I could never get that damn bear because of one reason or another.

Did you finish the Fire Festival?

Jul 6th 2009 9:18AM (WoW)
Well yes I was able to complete the fire festival achievements on two characters, and I was able to get halfway through a third. However Ahune refused to even drop a scorchling for me. After completing most of these quests last year, getting the scorchling was my main goal this year.

Officers' Quarters: Normal raiders are people, too

Jun 15th 2009 3:30PM (WoW)
I've been in our guild's core 10 man raiding group for ulduar since its launch and I got to say its really brought us closer together. We dont have enough people so far to start up a 25 man group yet but the 10 mans are a way to get everyone involved and have them run with us so they dont feel left out. Our guild was stuck on yogg before we started to get everyone else involved and get them better loot. Now we have two groups of ulduar raiding people who are either on yogg or on general and most of them weren't serious raiders before they joined up with us. If you had asked me if I would have rather ran a 10 or a 25 man ulduar 6 weeks ago I would have told you 25 man. Now, however, after all the great times we have in getting to know new people and getting more people better gear to make their experiences better, I would have to say 10 man. Applicants are still rolling in and we should be starting a 25 man group shortly, however I wouldnt trade the time we have spent in 10 man ulduar, learning it together, for nothing.

Gotta be the Hippogryph Hatchling for me. Being the avid pet collector that I am, I value this one over all the others since its written in the epicness that is the purple text....*drools*...
