The ad is fake for several reasons.
1.)This isn't a Wal Mart magazine, it's from Circuit City
2.)Notice how everything has CENTS after the dollar value such as the Wii priced at 249.99. The Xbox 360 is just $349.
3. Why is the picture so tiny?

If you look closely (33212 累計販売本数:33212), My educational guess tells me that GoW sold 33212 units for the first (current) week. The second number is also 33212 which indicates the overall game sales. Since this was GoW's first week, both are the same.

Let me give you guys a little lesson on statistics. In the real world, there is something called voluntary bias. What this means is that people that only care about an issue will go on sites like these to report them. Let me explain what I mean. I have a broken Xbox 360 (Not literally, mine works just fine). Probably, one of the first things I would do is go online to research the problem. There I am, on google searching, and accidentally xbox360fanboy.com pops up. I read through the blogs and realize that many of the people have the same problem. So I go to myself, "that is awful and seems like over 33% of people have this problem. MS must suck."

Bottom line, only those with problems will go online to report them. That's why it may seem as if every one is having Xbox 360 failures. (Same goes for the PS3) People who have a system that works just fine won't even bother going on this site to say "Hey I decided to stop by to tell you that I have a perfectly working system". I mean cmon, who does that.

This leads me to believe that you guys are Bsing about all your friends having broken Xboxs. 1. That is Statistically impossible (10 friends with 10 broken xboxs). If it was a truly random sample, that wouldn't of happened. If your telling the truth, then maybe you should call your electric company to find out what could be wrong with your electrical systems (as someone above me said, power surges?) 2. There would of been a recall if over 33% Xboxs failed. Hell if it was 15% there be a recall. Correct it if I'm wrong, but isn't there a regulation law that states the % failure before a recall is required? I sure as heck think that 33% is way over.

So where is the so called "1080i upscaling problem fixed" in the update as I've heard several people mention......???

The first 3 screens where the driver is inside the car are definitely in-game. You can see the letters on the side are a little blurry and pixelated. But the other 3 look pre-rendered to me. I mean, look at big version (also compare them to the first 3 pictures, no where near as detailed), and look closely at the detail of the guy and the headlights. I know PS3 is a powerful system, but there is no way you can achieve such detailed graphics on any system yet. Take my word for it. Environment seems credible though, but could also be touched up a little with photoshop to make a bit more vivid.

To the guy who said that each car is taking a month to make is a complete joke. So if there are 700 cars, multiply it by 1 month and divide by 12. How many years is that son? 58 Years? Ummmm I don't think so.

NO!!! XBOX 360 CORES ON AMAZON WERE A SCAM ROFL. REMEMBER THAT DEAL FOR $100. amazon took the site down to simulate the load of the servers. Because I started refreshing the site since 10:50 and it worked fine, but at 10:55, site instantly disappeared. I mean I don't think 100,000 people tried to log on to amazon at once at that exact second. WOW GG AMAZON. I bet they had like 10 of them instead of 1000. (who here got one?) Just a cheap way of advertising and we all fell for it. GOD.

ANYWAYS. I GOT GEARS OF WAR YESTERDAY. I GOT 4 WORDS "OH MY F***** GOD". My jaws fell down when I saw it. This game prolly does have the greatest graphics of any console, even the PS3 and PC. Speaking of PS3, can it handle GoW, since it only got 256 MB. Not trying to start a war again, but can it?

Guys it is true though. Xbox 360 beat PS3 sales for sure, I'm not sure about the wii though. I've been closely tracking both Xbox 360 and PS3 when they came on on the nexgenwars.com. When PS3 came out on friday, only 6,900,000 Xbox 360s were sold. It's at 7,300,000 right (400,000 conosle in 5 or 6 days) whereas PS3 is currently at 275,000. 360 beat PS3 for sure, but probably not Wii. Wii is crazy = sold 700,000 in literally 2 days.
