Niko Bellic has second career as folk singer

I think they're trying to be silly by slipping in a fake spoiler.

Rock Band wireless PS3 guitar gets FCC'd, mystery dongle discovered

What's even more interesting is that there are more buttons on the lower part of the fretboard. High-pitched guitar solos, anyone??

BioShock gets the Zero Punctuation treatment

Sep 7th 2007 10:15AM (Joystiq)
The combat is diverse? Are you kidding me? There are only 3 types of enemies in the game: splicers, big daddies, and turrets. That's it. You just shoot, reload, fire a plasmid or two, rinse, repeat, for the entire game.

Bioshock is a total letdown. It should've been $40, not $60.

It's just yet another first person shooter.

Rescue nuclear scientists from U.S. military in new Iranian-made game

Jul 17th 2007 11:00PM (Joystiq)
To translate: "Everyone in our country plays Counter-Strike, so we are now banning that and forcing everyone to play Rescue the Nuke Scientist. We will not allow our people to get the impression that freedom is wonderful!"

In other news, the sun rose again.

Microsoft defends Pac-Man CE price

@okenny

That's because the games on Nintendo's Virtual Console are games like Actraiser, not games like Root Beer Tapper.

Microsoft defends Pac-Man CE price

I bought the full version, but last night I became shocked at just how short it is. Geometry Wars is worth the $10 way more than Pac-Man CE.

Today's slingingest video: Spider-Man Wii

May 6th 2007 10:31AM (Joystiq)
I'm 33, have owned a Wii since November 19, and think it is one kick-ass system. Wii Sports, Warioware, Zelda, Excite Truck, SSX Blur, all are the best games I've played this generation.

I also own a 360. I like the Wii's control and interface much better. The 360's graphics are nice, but not next-generation nice. At least the Wii got the next-gen part right by introducing a totally new control scheme.

As for Spider-Man 3, I'm not surprised. The first Spider-Man game sucked, the second one was a little better but only 5% better, and this one was rushed out on a crappy engine. What's most fascinating is watching the fall of the giants: Sony by its own hand, Microsoft to Apple and Mozilla. The next 10 years will be very interesting.

I wonder how many extra levels will suddenly appear when he gets around to releasing it...
