One problem is that good games so far have been picked off for full Live Arcade status. I know this doesn't account for everything, but it's a factor.

Oh, please no. If I took an annoying Halo kid and then made them sound "hard", that's rap. I don't care if it fits any technical definition of music, it makes my ears bleed. It's a genre that started well enough, but is now irredeemably derivative, homogeneous and bloated with macho self aggrandizement. Can I please get a song where they don't try their hardest to fulfill every single damn stereotype people have about the genre? Just loop a short, bass drenched beat with some annoying synth sound, drop in a little "roses are red" end rhyme and you got it.
