@MacUser1986 Rather see Steam bury Origin.

@Gmail Calendar Rep Yes, I'm willing to bet money that every single EA account people are forced to create to play an EA game is padding out their figures for the Origin user base.

Clever move on Valve's part. I wonder if this is them pulling a fast one over on Gamestop or if it was a mutually beneficial agreement.

@Siphillis Exactly. They've built good faith among their customers with every move they've made, whereas EA has consistently diddled their customers and tried to get away with borderline illegal fine print shenanigans at every turn, until checked by class action lawsuits or PR s**tstorms.

About the worst you can say about Valve is what the gentleman/lady above me has posted: that they still use DRM (even if it's completely benign) and that they havent finished the half life story.

@commonperson DA Asunder being lukewarm and full of mistakes, and now the latest ME novel being written by some ink slinger with little familiarity with the setting? Yeah.

@Uncommon Ditto. I think the ME3 art book will be the last non-game Bioware thing I pick up. They've fatally diluted the quality of their supplemental products in the past 12-16 months.

@PN04 I think they've overshot Activision at this point.

Phew. Good thing I had to cancel this and the DA: Asunder books due to being broke. Sounds like I dodged a bullet on both accounts.
