Yeah, I really loved the fictional world thing and I wished that they would make an Ace Combat game set in their early 1960s when machine guns were still as widely used as the then-unreliable air-to-air missiles.

You have to realize that Ace Combat from the first game is designed as an arcade flight shooter and not something like even a "sim lite" like those Third Wire flight sims.

It's a shame that they left out the Ace Combat world for real world stuff, well, maybe it just sells better.

It really isn't that realistic. It's about Brothers in Arms or the GRAW games in terms of realism.

Probably not. By the time this comes out we'll have Battlefield 3 with the total conversion mods already out.

Remember when Wanzers were just another piece of hardware on the battlefield, walking tanks that were no less vulnerable than an IFV? Double Helix just blows it into the realm of Knightmare Frames and Mobile Suits.
