This is just starting to get moronic.

I loved it. No matter what most people will say, there was a great philosophical value to "The End." If you wanted definite answers, sure you were let down, but thats not how Lost rolls. If people haven't gotten to that point yet, its a you problem now.

For the thinkers, it was awesome. For the masses, it was not.

I for one loved it, and am sad to see such a series end.

If Jack is taking Jacob's place, the MIB can't kill him... or any candidate for that matter.

1) Yes, Jack HAS to be the last recruit. Having said that, I am pretty sure he is going to be the next Jacob. I think Mr. Science finally understands that Locke was foolish and got himself killed over nothing. Jack's attachment to the Island is now something that he can't get rid of. In the "real" timeline, he has nothing to look forward to off Island. What does he have to lose taking Jacob's spot?

2)Jack didn't die. In fact, if you really think about it, he is just taking that attachment to the Island and manifesting it by telling Locke that he is on his side. Does Jack know that he is going to be filling Jacob's shoes? Of course not... at least not yet. I have my money on Jack realizing that his ticket to staying on the Island forever is taking Jacob's counter-balance to the Man in Black. The great irony, of course, is that it will be Jack and "Locke."

The Betaverse and Desmond is actually quite entertaining. I like him playing the part of grand matchmaker. Here is what sucked about the Desmond storyline in this week's episode. Did Sayid really kill Des? I am inclined to think that we will find out he didn't, but left Des in the well.

Uugh, I just couldn't get back into Glee... Maybe it was the loooooong break or the music selection wasn't really something I cared for (The Beatles FTW)... but whatever.

Finding out Emma was still a virgin was... meh.

Maybe the Madonna episode next week will be more entertaining.

I was thinking she might have been part of Internal Affairs or something like that.

Here is where I disagree with you.

Although Apple controls what hardware OSX goes on, Microsoft has never had that luxury. For Microsoft to pass on writing Zune software for the Mac, which they have done thus far, they are giving up the chance to tell Mac users, "Hey Mac users, come get something that isn't as stale and dated as the iPhone. Come use the Zune ecosystem, and get a subscription to all-you-can-eat music, a newer and more fresh user experience and some excellent new hardware."

Isn't that why Apple put iTunes on Windows? To lure PC users to the Mac. This is Microsoft's trojan horse (no pun intended). To try and lure Mac users back to Windows.

Alright, I switched from PC to a Mac, and now back to PC. I use my MacBook, and want a decent notebook that isn't an Apple to use Windows 7.

As a student, this would be thankfully appreciated.
