I'm going to say Shepherd because I have never played either of these games and he is the only crew member I know. It would be awesome if I won so that I could finally play these games.

Also, this is what happens when you plan a game so badly and are so incompetent in time management and execution that you have to throw half of the content out as he said was the case with FFXIII. The problem is not making the towns from FF VII, the problem is making them all TWICE!

He's just blowing smoke. Games like Oblivion, Fallout 3, Fable 2, etc... all were big HD RPGs with towns. A game like Uncharted 2, though a completely different genre, has cities and towns that are unbelievably detailed and stunningly beautiful. I'm sure that a numbered Final Fantasy game has a far bigger budget and more artists working on it than any of these games. Sounds like laziness and/or incompetence to me. Otherwise, he just really doesn't want to make the game and just came up with a really lame excuse as to why it can't be done rather than just telling the truth.
