I think always - on internet connection is a great idea. You know, because you don't want people to actually be able to play the game. The best strategy is to have them buy it, not play it, then have to go buy it on another system. Because that's awesome.

Wonder why no-one has ever tried to do the same with Terry Goodkind's superior Sword of Truth series?

I did a play in highschool about how Rand was a near-perfect example of the tragic fantasy hero archetype.

Was just about to point this out. I thought it was pretty decent for a poorly marketed game. They did a decent job of replicating some of the more interesting spells and ideas from the universe.
