The Joystiq Show - 001: Duke Nukem Forever
Jun 17th 2011 11:01PM (Joystiq)I will not be listening to the joystick show any further if this is any indication of how the new format will work. 15-minute long interviews with uninteresting people does not a podcast make.
There was an awesome chemistry between Ludwig, Chris and Justin. Just because that format (What 'cha bin' playin', News, etcetera) wasn't particularly unique doesn't make it unentertaining. Please, bring it back.

Left 4 Dead pre-orders to grant early demo access
Oct 28th 2008 7:00PM (Joystiq)007craft makes an interesting point. Is a demo's purpose to woo undecided buyers or is it fanservice?
I, for one, am looking forward to the demo so I can convince my GF that it's worth picking up. She and I had much fun playing Serious Sam co-op so I think it'd be a good fit, but we're going to have to wait for the later date until we can actually play together. I'm caught squarely between the "woo" and "fanservice" camps.

World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade footage leak
Sep 30th 2006 9:08AM (Joystiq)At any rate, burning crusade looks to be more than your average "bit-more-landmass-and-a-few-extra-mobs" MMO expansion. I'll be picking it up.
