PSN Name: Shinblade

See you there! Hooray for breaking UK homes console sales records!! (^_^)

Are you ready to break-up with Sony?

To be honest... who cares?

On 360 this year I will be getting Viva Pinata, Gears of war, Dead rising, Sonic, need for speed, crackdown to name but a few.

There are so many good games for 360, and assasins creed has now been added to that list, that I had decided not to bother with the PS3 at all anyway - only heavenly sword, devil may cry, and final fantasy make me even interested in the ps3...

of those, well, DMC is going to be announced for 360 at the TGS, fable 2 will more than make up for final fantasy... thanks very much.

heavenly sword.... the only big name exclusive to make me spend £425 on a console....?

you can delay it till 2012 for all i care.

Catching up with Kaz and the PS3 [update 1]

A year from now, Wii is going to have sold the most units - like EA said if you are second on everybodies list, you are first overall. Thing is, most people I know have Wii as first on their list and something else second.

Counting Wii out... of the mix becaise it's not a direct competitor - Microsoft have a console that is cheaper and can push just as many pixels.

Gears of war looks better than any sony game shown thus far and it's nearly finished. Most of the really good stuff sony showed back at e3 was still showreel, with only resistance and heavenly sword looking really worthwhile.

Anyway, I digress.

Wii first - cheap, different, and fun
Xbox second - a harcdcore gamers system, which has a much more 'gamer' focus than it's currently being given credit for (compared to PS3)
ps3 third - expensive and not living up to a single promise so far.

More Lego games planned, says Star Wars developer

OMG OMG OMG!

Lego Kill Bill!

I want a lego pussy wagon now.

In fact... why hasn't anyone made a kill bill game yet? Oh yeah... red steel is out soon.

XNA Game Studio Express FAQ not entirely worthless

Why hasn't anyone metnioned the obvious benefit to microsoft yet - any really good dtuff will no doubt get snapped up by them and released on Live Arcade in no time.

This isn't altruism you know... It's about getting legions of upcoming game makers familiar with XNA above anything else, and bolstering the appeal of 360 with the hardcore and casual (live arcade) players in one go.

This, my friends, is a strategic masterstroke of epic proportions.

Should we consider the PSP dead?

Aug 15th 2006 5:47AM (Joystiq)
Simple... the PSP has never given plays anything they can't experience elsewhere. It's a pocket PS2 - which sounds cool until you figure the fact that it's expensive, the games are often underdeveloped and hence look very ropey next to their big brother counterparts... and, cruically, the PSP offers lackluster control in comparision. Really Pocket PS2 has actually come to mean 'dumbed down PS2'

Mine went on Ebay ages ago... where are the big name games? Ropey ports do not sell a system. End of.
