Xbox Live launch titles for Windows Phone 7 finally revealed, we've got the full preview

Aug 16th 2010 11:21PM (Engadget)
When Microsoft really needs to perform, boy it performs! I just hope Windows Phone 7 has "non-phone" devices, aka, Zune 2.

TiVo Premiere vs Windows 7 Media Center

Aug 11th 2010 11:38PM (Engadget)
@MMMMM

Because if you're playing a game while a TV show is about to record, you don't want to have to choose between the two. What you really want is a server that does all the recording and hosts all your media content and feeds that to any PC or Xbox that you have on your network. That would be far more efficient in the long run.

Clear iSpot's device filtering falls to the hackers in near record time

Aug 11th 2010 11:30PM (Engadget)
@weerdoe

$25 month-to-month "unlimited" for the iSpot as opposed to $60/month 5GB cap and only with a 2-year contract. Previously, if you tried to get wireless access without a contract from Verizon, Sprint or T-Mobile, you'd be stuck with some batshit crazy $50/month 500MB plan which only an idiot would purchase on a regular basis.

Is this Canon's 60D DSLR, articulating display and all?

@TMoney2007

I dunno. A T2i is $899 and a 7D is $1549. Unless this camera is in the $1199 price range, I'd say it's too close to the price of the 7D to not just go up a step in the performance chain.

I'm trying to figure out how Canon is going to slip the 60D in between the T2i and the 7D.

AT&T's bullish earnings report suggests iPhone exclusivity is almost over

Aug 8th 2010 12:10PM (Engadget)
I wonder if they'll stop neutering Android handsets? I'm leaving AT&T as soon as an LTE iPhone comes out, so I can use Verizon and travel internationally with the same phone.

iPad data cost by country analyzed and charted

This is why I don't feel guilty jailbreaking my iPhone 4 and continuing to pay $30/month for unlimited internet and using that connection to WiFi tether to my iPad or USB tether with my laptop.

Official: iPhone 4 jailbreak hits from iPhone Dev Team (updated with video)

Works wonderfully on my iPhone 4 running iOS 4.0.1. Only problem I have is similar to the App Store, apps aren't updated for the Retina Display... =/

Magic Trackpad review

Jul 30th 2010 7:23PM (Engadget)
It's an interesting product with a learning curve. I'd say it's less likely to cause any hand conditions than the Magic Mouse because of it's awkward curvature.

Sometimes Apple's products aren't the best for your health.
