With the type of gameplay Modern Sonic has adopted I guess it's foolish to hope to play as any of his friends on the classic stages... or for that matter Modern Sonic on a Classic Stage. I get that people complain a lot about Sonic's cast of woodland critters, but so long as their gameplays aren't too divergent they make great additions to the gameplay.

I'm actually glad, glad I can be excited for a sonic game again. I just hope Sonic Team doesn't deliver another mediocre experience. I'm anxious to hear how the game's story plays out.

I know the baseless complaining will inevitably come, but I honestly need to ask...

Does Classic Sonic, in the trailer, look a little... lifeless when he turns to look at modern Sonic? Something, seems off about his face in that one scene. It's as if his face wasent animated expressively enough giving it this inhuman (inhedgehog?) appearance.

Other then that, I still like classic Sonic's run cycle leagues more then modern Sonic's. When did Sonic Team animators forget that you need to move your arms while running?

You know what this makes me think of? That image of the Man in the Yellow Spacesuit being haunted by the ghosts of his fallen astronauts. To tell you the truth, if the show was about that? A man haunted by the ghosts of his partners? That's be pretty awesome.

You know, despite recent happenings "Sonic the Hedgehog" is still my favorite video game character. First Sonic game I played was Sonic 2 and it was only at my cousin's house (I only owned a Super Nintendo at the time).
Then, just a few years back, I found a Genesis and Sonic 2 at a convention. And although I owned the game in at least 5 other formats I just had to buy it just solely for Nostalgia. Never fails to put a smile on my face.
