PlayStation 3 vs. Xbox 360 vs. Wii

Nov 18th 2006 10:05PM (Engadget)
"swinging it around could be cool but it would be tiring"

Wow, what kind of condition are we in if a video game can wear us out? ;) Sorry, couldn't resist. I have these mental pictures of sweaty people swinging that little wii controller, panting, and dumping cups of water over their heads as they play an intense round of tennis in front of a 50" LCD.

Actually, you don't really have to swing that hard if you don't want to. The Wii is so awesome, it can recognize that you're doing something even with small swings, so rejoice, fatsos!

A video review of Star Fox Command

Aug 14th 2006 9:05PM (Joystiq)
When he says "I don't care" when he mentions the dialouge, he means he doesn't understand the language, so he doesn't care about what they say, but everything else means that you think he's going to hate the game when he really likes it. I would agree that some of the sounds are annoying, but not ALL of them!

This next comment doesn't have to do with the reviewer, but I would like to complain that they didn't put any voiceover in this game whatsoever. Almost all of the Star Fox games have voiceover. The DS games are capable of having voiceover instead of gibberish in them, just like the N64. WHY DIDN'T THEY PUT THEM IN HERE, FOR PETE'S SAKE? IS IT BECAUSE THEY'RE LAZY. I would accept it if the cart didn't have enough memory left, but otherwise, it's unforgivable.
So those are my complaints about the (gay-sounding) reviewer and the developers of this anticipated Star Fox game. If I had my own money and am allowed to drive a car, I would probably get this game since I only have Mario Kart DS as a Wi-Fi connection game. However, if the "get more stars than your opponent" mode on the Wi-Fi mode is the only one, I would probably play more of Mario Kart DS than Star Fox Command in Wi-Fi mode, then. Otherwise, I would play it as many times as I can (and be the best I can, too since I'm doing well with Mario Kart DS).
