CESA: 5.2 million illegal downloads of Dissidia: Final Fantasy in Japan

Jun 10th 2010 3:58AM (Joystiq)
Sigh, agree with sol. It really irks me that myself and other consumers are still payinG full price all the while parasites are benifiting from a series they may like, but do nothing to keep going.

Here I was excited for a Dissidia 2...with these figures, I fear my hopes for naught.

I really do wish they would make a consumer-friendly psp and go digital.

Disgaea Infinite trailer makes as much sense as the other Disgaea games

Laharl must be in every Disgaea game by default or it's not a Disgaea game. At the very least, not one I'd purchase.

Fat Princess bulks up on content for PSP debut

Well like I've suggested there should be a thief that evolves into more of a rogue class and the rogue would have no form of attack but he would be able to jeopardize the hat machines and players' hats. The cake isn't so much of an issue I suspect new game mode/maps that make use of the chef and employ finite cake.

They need engineers xD

I can't wait for this. I don't own a PS3 and ever since I saw the game I thought it'd be perfect for the PSP I searched and searched and like providence one day lo and behold I found out about this that was months ago and I'm happy that it's coming soon!

I hope that even 1 of the new classes are on it

Why the F would I play this anymore?
The whole fun of LBP is that you were platforming with a friend!

What's new with PSP Go's firmware 5.70?

Aug 14th 2009 10:39AM (Joystiq Playstation)
You can download limitlessly. You can activate up to 5 psps, so if something should happen to one and you don't get to deactivate it you should still have 4 activations left.

Sony should really consider raising the alloted amount though. It's fine for the PS3, but with the portability of a PSP the risk factor is much more prevalent. PSPs before the GO were already infamous for their fragile nature, and let's face it this thing doesn't look like it will hold up much. So much so that I sometimes think that Sony is purposely making these iterations fragile, but I digress.

I'm already down to just 3, and that's including the times I got the chance to deactivate. If I never did I would have lost all my purchases by now. I'm all for the download movement, so much so that I stopped buying UMD games (MHFU being an exception) but when you have such common mishaps e.g. theft, accident, lost, and even repair services that simply replace your psp it seems that increasing the limit even marginally would be of huge aid. It'd ease my state of mind anyway.

Atlus provides video walkthrough of Persona PSP

Aug 5th 2009 1:59PM (Joystiq Playstation)
It was done very well. I wasn't even semi-interested. Never played a persona game, and wasn't really interested in it, but now due to this video my intrigue has piqued, it's very detailed and where I previously scoffed at the graphics I'm rejoicing over the depth of the game.

So good job Atlus.
