Better than being in a shop for a blown transmission multiples times over, or having some random piece of the interior fall off because it is that horribly built. Dodge has been going down the tubes for a long time. That's why another outside company had to take it over. Even with Daimler's help they were and still are crap.

Forward all the details to Hyundai Corporate, including the ebay auction #. File a complaint with the BBB as well. There's a legally binding contract in place, they legally have to honor that in the end.
