I guarantee that every boss fight in this game will be - -direct attack you have to dodge -spin attack you have to jump over -powerful attack if you stay too close -extended attack (almost always fire) that leaves them vulnerable for 4 seconds
repeated at 5 second intervals, with maybe one extra super move you can't dodge
it seems 90% of boss fights in this type of game follow this formula. I'm really tired of it. when will we get to fight giant monsters that actually behave as they would if they were real, i.e moving and attacking constantly but slower than a normal sized creature so you actually have to use some skill, and always facing you - if it can't turn its body quickly enough it should at least turn its head, make it seem like an actual living thing for god's sake!! it shouldn't be possible to run round the side of it while it just sits there staring into space!
the fact they made a big display of this in the damn trailer doesn't give me much hope for this game
