PS3 will dominate, and i'm glad video games will have to be optimized for cell this will minimize the ports from companies like EA, UbiSoft etc.

Ports ruin the industry, if ports is what we wanted then why not stay on pc? If all the 3 systems had nothing but first party titles they'd all walk away as winners. Like you said Post # 5, the end result of porting is more money through lower quality not higher quality games.

Is there any solid spec on the ps3 GPU? last time I checked, no. And as already mentioned the developer needs to say it will be the same for both systems, it wants you to go buy the game and cannot allege themselves to 1 console. The games being made for sony are devkits as the final spec is still in pre-release which means it can change and improve, we have not received word that the ps3 is in production have we?

Whatever comes out 2nd is always better in terms of graphics in the long run. The PS3 will be a year after the 360 thats significant.

Anyway, to comment on the actual topic, I think the only reason they didnt price drop earlier is cause of KHII I mean I know a few people that went out and bought a slimline to play it, pretty damn smart if you ask me. I'm not too sure about the next big title, but FFXII is on the minds of many an RPG fan, but that might be time away so to leverage sales they dropped. *ching ching*

@33, Geezer. I agree with you, when Sony made this mouse they obviously new it wouldnt sell like an ipod, the point is they found some benefits to making such mouse and knew some users would like it.

I also agree that most of the weblogs bash anything sony and if it's not why does it feel that way?

Dont get me wrong, I have no problem admitting i'm a fanboy, but for both Nintendo and Sony, both of them are my golden age of gaming and that being said i'm still buying both systems.
