Rift sucks. It will lose ALL its subscribers (even you) when GW2 and The Old Republic comes out.
Because people will not pay to play all 3 games.
However, since this mmo is free, they won't have to worry about losing subscribers when new games come out.
People can always log in and play, even if only for 2 hours a month, without having to sacrifice their other subscription.

You're a fool. If HG:L was a scam then why don't you start a class action suit. They made poor decisions, but it was definitely not a scam.
And yes, this is EXACTLY the kind of person who brings expertise to the table because not only have they had their successes, but they have also had their failures. They know what works and what doesn't.

You are incorrect. Forcing people to choose between two subscriptions is exactly what he meant. He has given numerous interviews since HG:L failed and Runic Games started. He and Travis Baldree have stated this as their reason many, many times.

Mass Effect was popular, but I didn't care for it. There was just too much going on. You had manage your combat team, constantly switch out weapons for each team member. It just wasn't my thing.


This is simple: point and click. Its got beautiful levels; great looking armor; fun skills and some cool game mechanics: your pet can summon its own minions.
I liked Diablo 1 and 2. I loved Jade Empire. I thought Titan Quest was ok.


Different people like different games. This may not be the game for you. But I do think its more fun at harder difficulties.


And once the editor comes out (in about a week) you will be able to make your own content. Some people have made some wonderful content already even without the editor.
