R: well, there is a saying: good ideas are a dime a dozen, it's the execution that counts.
Fable 2 is one of those game that polarises people: you need to be emotionally involved in the world to really enjoy it. There is a lot to be said about having a world full of people that you can influence, towns to explore and jobs and quests to do, but the implementation is basically a series of minigames from a 1980's arcade wrapped around with a 3d facade. I mean, there's only so many times you can 'make someone love you' by doing the fart emotion over and over again before it wears a bit thin, you know?
Umm, definitely double shotguns are the best close combat weapons, but the famas is the best all round gun in the game. You start with that gun. Put a grenade launcher on it and go nuts.
Wow, I could not have a more different opinion. I happen to have played through all the Halo games, but mostly it has been through loans and boredom rather than concious effort. My favourite campaign were the last 2 I played - halo 2, followed by ODST. It's just a shame it's so short, I would have happily spent another 5 hours playing in new mombasa. Firefight was another pleasant surprise - really entertaining to play, and there's not been a shortage of friends to play it with as of yet.
Biggest letdown? Multiplayer disc. Just the same old deathmatch from halo 3, same old double beatdowns all the time, people leave in the middle and one team ends up with 2 players, matchmaking takes years... it's bad! We've had COD4 now and developers cannot be complacent about simple bugs anymore.
To be fair, there is that perk in halo 3 where shooting grunts in the head makes confetti fly out everywhere. A bunch of kids even shout 'hooray!' I always switch that one on.
Well, these kind of surveys don't always give you the answers you might expect. When you're in a store and some guy shoves a survey in your face, you probably just give the first answer that is in the tip of your mind rather than give it any serious consideration.

It's pretty unfortunate that this came out *after* the guild wars 2 trailer that was shown off earlier today. It looks very uninspired by comparison, I was distinctly underwhelmed, wheras if i'd have seen this yesterday i'd probably be all over it.
Looks beautiful, i'm really impressed. But, I have a real aversion to playing another game that would have me kill 50 boars over and over again for 8 solid days to get anywhere. Any word on the gameplay aspect?
