Sweet! I've been wanting to play God of War since it came out, finally did when I picked up the collection for PS3, and pretty soon I'll have five GoW games all for the same system. Not bad!

I just checked, I guess it was pixel shader 3.0? Whatever, doesn't matter.

The card was a Radeon 850XT Platinum, and it cost about $500 when it came out, about 2.5 years before Bioshock. Can't remember when I actually bought it, but the first time I ever even heard about pixel shader 3.0 was when I discovered that if I didn't have it, I couldn't play Bioshock. I read reviews of the cards and all, I was trying to get the most for my money, and in a year or so my card is useless. My Xbox, on the other hand, is six years old, never had a compatibility issue, never had a driver issue, never had to upgrade, never had to go on forums where people tell me I should have gotten this card or that card, call me stupid or cheap...If that makes me lazy, fine. I'm not a kid anymore, I don't have time for this BS.

This is the sort of thing that turned me into a console gamer. "Sorry, that year-old ATI card doesn't have pixel shader 2.0, you can't run Bioshock. " Really? I didn't even know that was a thing. "Just get a compatible card, there like $100." Had enough of that noise.

Just got a PS3 about a month ago (yes, just a few weeks before the PSN stuff started) so this is just what I need to play catchup on the exclusives. Also, any time I say that I just got a PS3 people come out of the woodwork to recommend Uncharted. Don't worry, I have them both.

Pretty sure gambling is already illegal there, except for the Indian casino they're planning on building (and the lottery, and Keno...)

I bought a Wii on day one, but I think I'm done with motion controls. It was a nice experiment, and it has its uses, but I think it should have been an accessory rather than the main control system. I love Nintendo games, but I'm getting tired of the lack of third party support. No way would I buy another Nintendo console until it proves itself with a year or two of solid titles.

Just got a PS3, is this worth it? Or should I be starting with the "big guns", like the God of War collection, etc.

What a great title.

Not surprising, seems like the kind of thing that'd be right up his alley.
