Screen Grabs: Pretty Little Liars is TV's newest home to egregious product placement (video)

@Amusednow

Well said man. Apple gets a very disproportionate amount of screen time on tv.

People forget the real reason TV exists.

Miyamoto: Super Mario Galaxy 2 will be 'really difficult'

Nov 16th 2009 8:21PM (Joystiq)
I define a casual game as one that is easy to pick up and then walk away from. I would say the TF2 is a casual game. Its easy to get on and play a few games, and put it down, come back to it later. I wouldn't say popularity makes a game "casual" I'd say it makes it popular.

Casio stuffs backlit CMOS sensors in Exilim EX-FC150 and EX-FH25 superzoom

Nov 16th 2009 7:57PM (Engadget)
I'm a pretty big fan of these cameras. I have both the FC100 and the FH20. Overall, these are cameras you really should get. The high speed stuff is very amazing and opens up a lot of different applications. I read in consumer reports that it is listed in third place among the super zooms, including image quality. Now, I don't know if I would place it there or not, but how can I disagree? I'm glad to see Casio continue in this direction.

Zune HD review

Sep 17th 2009 1:09PM (Engadget)
Personally, I'd rather rent the house and get payments made to actually be able to own it one day. Rent to own.. heh. Though I don't have a zune pass, I use amazon mp3 as well. Gotta love it when they have sales!

Zune 4.0 software is out, ready to fulfill your dreams (update: kills "squirting")

Wow, the ZUNE originals are awesome! But they took away some! gasp!

Zune portals close up shop for the day, should re-open with Zune HD launch

I really don't understand the anti-hype myself. I don't understand some of the arguments people are making.

You point out it's limitations:
HD dock.... Come again? A limitation? First, I doubt the price will always be $90 (usually get zune accessories on sale). And second, it is cool. Not that I'd use it for a movie, but for a tv show, sharing a video...

HD radio... Not that much better? Have you tried HD radio? Me, I'm very interested in it so I can get some AM radio stations (that are broadcast in HD radio. That is pretty cool to me.)

OLED and Tegra are nice but... (what was your point again?)

I will agree with you, I'd like it to have bluetooth, but isnt' that big of a deal. A speaker would be good and so would 64 gig of memory.

And regards to the original zune not catching on... WiFi is a great feature to have on that, though its original use was poorly limited. Though now that they added marketplace and you can subscribe to music, you can download anywhere you want... bar, school, home, starbucks....

And yeah, it did suck to go out and get an alarm clock for a zune. But they have the home/audio dock that you can set up with radio and that works just as well.

To answer your question, get a mp3 player already. I'll plug the zune. Several sites have some refurbished ones for real cheap. That should hold you until you can make a better choice. I know the Archos has a 500 gig with touch screen. But that is expensive.

Live from Apple's 'It's only rock and roll' event

As far as the Apple update, pretty cool things for itunes and the Touch. I also dig the Nano with FM and video, neat stuff.

But, I'm a Zune fanboy, and like you, I'm gonna go with the ZuneHD in blue with an engraving. Something I've long wanted to get, a blue zune. Had to wait and see on the HD before I got the 120 gig. My 30 gig zune was awesome, sold it and got an 80 gig. Wish I didn't blow my money this month though, September 15 gonna come a month late! :-(

All Zune models not named 'Zune HD' on the outs

They dropped the 4 GB and the 80 GB like last year. They just still have them in stock.

When Zune 4.0 comes out, your older model will still be updated to utilize it. I've even heard the rumor that you'll get a web browser as well. Who knows though. Gotta love that kinda support though.
