Does the exotic satchel from the Call To Arms thing try to pick mounts/pets that you don't already have? -- I'm sitting on 94 mounts and there are only two there that I don't have yet. I also don't have any alts on my main's server (I transferred for Cat') so there aren't any other characters who might get use out of repeats.

On wowarmory.com, my character's average ilvl is 350 but when I add up all the item levels and divide, it comes out to only 346.8-- what else is the average ilvl thing counting?

I've counted all my gear slots except shirt and tabard, no gems nor enchants. Are some slots weighed higher? It would make sense to weigh my weapons higher than my rings but I couldn't find that info anywhere.

I think it'd be great if the Fire Nova would emit from yourself if there was no Flame Shock on-- or maybe that could be a major glyph or something...

In order to use fire nova to its full potential, I have to spend precious seconds finding a target, throwing a FS on him, hitting nova, then switching back to my main target like the boss or something. Why can't we just get a 'click on the ground where you want to nova' like a Mage's blizzard or something. Even if it briefly stopped us from auto-attacking, we could work that into a rotation where AoE was needed.

I wasn't crazy about the old system but this new one isn't any better.

Can I send heirlooms from an Alliance character on one server to a Horde alt on another?

I looked and indeed although The Scryers is a PST server, it's located in New York. Living in LA, I might transfer to one of those, I'm looking for a new guild anyway.

For the SLI issue, I just noticed in the latest nVidia drivers (February or so?) that SLI is now supported for WoW. And it only took 'em the better part of a decade! I really just got the SLI setup for work stuff but it is frustratingly funny to see all of peak Orgrimmar's traffic freeze in place while their various enchants and animations continue to move flawlessly.

It can do my 3d animation stuff like a boss but frikkin world of warcraft lags like a b*tch.

My latency is always 800ms+ on any US realm but it's especially bad on my main's realm, The Scryers.

Problem is, I can download stuff at crazy-fast speeds, everything goes great-- and my computer's brand new, I often have 1000ms of lag and 200fps.

What can I do about it?

^^That's what I was thinking. I've only ever used that spell when I see a boss casting a Giant F-ing Spell with a short cast time-- to try to get a big heal out immediately after... but my understanding is that those kinds of things largely went away in Cat.

Healing Surge vs Healing Wave vs Greater Healing Wave? They seem mis-named. Healing Surge seems like what used to be a Lesser Healing Wave, quicker and less. Greater is still great-- then Healing Wave also heals me? I don't get it. Cast times all seem too similar, I just GHW and Chain Heal with a Riptide here and there atm.

Are there any guidelines to whether I should have mana stream or healing stream down? I forget which ability overlaps with mana stream totem... isn't it a mage or paladin ability? I assume I want to check whether they're bringing that and then drop healing stream.

Wasn't there a spell before that made my cast-heals an instant cast? So I could throw out an emergency GHW every now and then? Is Riptide now my only emergency-heal ability?

Grounding Totem? Glyphed Stoneclaw? Stoneskin vs added awesomeness of Strength of Earth? Again, I'd like to know which buffs like SoE are 'necessary' and I should supply when missing over a Stoneskin.

Basically I don't know how useful a lot of my abilities are nor when they're already being covered by another class. I just keep clicking Healbot and that makes me noobish.
