it looks pretty good. I mean, most of it is stuff that probably should of been in the first game to begin with. The cage control stuff and southpaws. I hope they go all out and put in entrances and all that. I only really played the first one online and we all know how annoying the online was with people quitting which they seemed to fix (the last time I played it anyhow) with the disconnect percentage. If EA MMA ever shows some gameplay footage that will probably determine which game I buy. Don't think I'd care to own 2 different MMA games unless they are drastically different.

they really improved the game a lot since the first beta. I played for a couple of weeks when it first came out. The game looks better graphically, the movement feels better, and they added and changed a bunch of stuff. Much better than before. Before there wasn't anything unlockable. Also they added that big tank on village that rolls through the map which is awesome.

Demo made it a lot easier for me decide on my next purchase. I was still wanting Need for Speed Shift or Brutal Legend or Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 or Demon's Souls. But Uncharted 2 definitely jumped to the top of the list. If the MP is this fun, I can't wait to try out the singleplayer that all the reviews are raving about.

ya...I watched her show "LA Ink" for about 4-5 episodes and realized it started to become less and less about the tattoos and more and more about stupid drama crap like "The Hills" or some shit.

Miami Ink was better. I just liked watching them do their tattoos and see their talent.

I feel ya a bit man. I played the first part of the demo but had to leave after the initial beat em up part. I was thinking...wtf....this is what people are gushing over? I button mashing game? Button mashing one button no less.

But I gave the demo another go later and the stealth aspect was a lot more appealing. Using the gadgets to jump around the ceiling and take out guys was fun. Still, the hand to hand combat felt really lacking. Tho I think you can unlock new moves. Still there doesn't seem to be much reason to do anyhting other than to repeatedly hit X (punch) and then watch the crappy animation of the enemy falling over with his hands covering his head in an awkward way. Looks a bit silly

ya. After UFC 101, WEC is on the next day I believe. After that I was gonna try to watch the Strikeforce event. Broaden my knowledge a little outside the UFC :p. As long as there are exciting fighters, I'll watch it. I've watched Babalu in the UFC and Nick Diaz. Never seen Gina fight tho.

well by your own statements, the UFC (the biggest company in MMA) is the most popular in the US. The casual MMA fan pretty much only knows UFC. Fedor is not part of the UFC. Hence, putting him as the face of the game still doesn't seem like a better decision than putting Randy Couture on there.

Pride was popular...sure. Who owns most of their big name fighters? UFC. Affliction is obviously gone now and according to reports the UFC absorbed 20 contracts.

Everyone should just agree EA made a huge mistake (whether they knew it at the time or not) by passing on making a UFC game. Making an MMA game without the UFC....silly.

But whatever. This is my opinion. I'll admit I know little about the other organizations outside the UFC and WEC.
