Assassin's Creed 3 follows Desmond more than ever

Now that's what I'm talking about. We should more of what you see in that image.

I think the only reason a puzzle genre fits within AC at all is that they designed them within the fiction of the universe, in this case being the Animus. Woven with complicated information, the Animus is merely being represented, in the puzzle sequences, as having *blocks* of info you must piece together in order to access some of Desmond's early memories.

I would, no doubt, agree with you 100% had it not been for the Animus. You see what I mean?

Dude, you're kind of shooting the bird to the people that reported your tip not too long ago. You know, the people that took the time to read the tip and appreciated every bit of your support. It's good to have a healthy reader-to-writer relationship.

Then I'll be the first to say I enjoyed the AC: R puzzle sequences. Sure, they were enormously reminiscent of Portal, but I love the atmosphere and sound and the direction of those sequences felt pleasantly surreal to me, and it was a nice examination of Desmond, and a good way to bring you back to that character.

Just my opinion.

See, I'd love to see that though: Modern-day assassins being assassins, with a futuristic revision of their costumes, weapons, methods, everything.

I think I'm in love with this idea. Hope it's executed well.

It's inevitable, but next location should be Rapture. I'm just eager to see an idealistic travel agent in full worship of Andrew Ryan. It could be funny.

"URGH!" That sound I just made is the noise of unbearable anticipation.

I want to see Desmond throw it all down, put on Assassin's cloak, a couple hidden blades, and everything it takes to be a modern-day assassin. I'm interested to see how Ubisoft portrays assassins taking up the customs of their ancestors again, something we haven't really seen in the series, only eluded to when Desmond talks about his child/teenhood.

I could go on all day about how much I love Desmond and the semi-futuristic world of assassins and the conspiracies. I think it's absolutely wonderful. It's also a pretty genius way to explain the UI in the game itself.

@Rubbishy Me

Like her or not (I'll be perfectly honest, I don't mind her), her songs are so infectiously catchy. Every one of them.
