I'm going to stay away (very far away) from any game console that my grand parents jam on. Somehow I don't think the Wii is for me.

Why would anyone need to pre-order a Wii? Is Nintendo lying about the numbers of units they'll have ready for launch? I doubt it.

Anyone who wants a Wii can walk into any store, anytime, and simply buy one (if Nintendo's launch numbers are as high as they announced).

Yes, higher resolutions with faster refresh rates is a joke. I just wish we could have all stuck to 480i. Those were the days...

Well, I guess for what the Wii does (doesn't) and the simplistic hardware you get, it is infact priced a tad high. Should be around 175-200 USD I hazzard to guess. The 360 is also a tad high for what you get, but it's a Microsoft product. The PS3 is the only one of the three that is actually really expensive to make, and was expensive to design. Naturally it will be expensive to buy, at least intially.

You won't need to preorder considering they'll have so many available. Just walk in and pick one up.

I made no such claim. The point of that statement (since you don't get it), was that I have the freedom to say what I want. If they don't like what I write and want to ban that particular email address from posting in the future, so be it. That is their right to do so. I don't care either way...

If it makes you feel better to believe that I am also these other people you mentioned, that's alright with me :) In the future, anyone who doesn't agree with you, just assume that that person is really me, because there can't possibly be more than one person out there who thinks differently than you do about stuff.
