I started playing Oblivion again a couple of weeks ago (never finished it) and I'm totally hooked. I might also be playing some PGR3 as I plan on getting the Wireless Steering Wheel this weekend (for Forza 2.... when it that damn game coming out!! ;-) ).

Forget those minimum specs...
The UnrealEngine 3 requires ShaderModel 3 (see Rainbox 6: Vegas). Thus requiring a Ati X1600XT and up, and a Nvidia Geforce 6600 GT and up to get anything playable.

Just overheard a conversation at my local gameshop (The Netherlands)...
They ordered 600 Wii's, they have 401 outstanding pre-orders, and they are getting....... 10 - 20 Wii's... So yeah, basically Nintendo f*cked up their Euro launch as well. This is very disappointing, but they just can't keep up with demand. I'd wish they would spread the shortages across the different regions, but Europe seems to get all of it.

It only takes 1 (Yes, just one!) brilliant game to win back the hearts of hardcore gamers. Let's be honest, casual gamers all love EA for bringing them what they expect every year (with slightly better graphics). If Army of Two is as good as they say it is (it will destroy GoW on every aspect.... well... just work with me here) than I believe the answer is YES... I know I will love EA again the moment they bring out a game that surpasses my then favorite game of all time (I don't like living in the past, so right now Gears of War is my favorite, and yes is exceeds Half-Life 2 and Halo 1/2 IMHO)...

I noticed some people on the internet (it's also in the article) mentioning the fact that the Sony Online User Interface is much richer than that of MS XBox Live. Judging from the screenshots I love the PS3 Online interface... Looks nice. I just got one complaint... This will be complete and utter crap on a SD TV. At least the MS Interface does well on SD TVs. I think Sony really has to look into this.

And they still didn't figure out how the dual analog sticks are supposed to be positioned. Damn, I really don't like the PS2 controller as the analog sticks are not where they are supposed to be. The XBOX360 controllor is much better. Also, force feed is, when done properly, great. The new XBOX360 controller has it down right. FOr everyone that only played with a PS2 controller... Yeah, their force feedback sucked. It's just to hard, the whole thing shakes it's ass off... It should be more refined.

And in racing games, you'll need it badly as to know when you're hitting the curbstones, or going off track.

PS: I'm not a fanboy, honestly. I just really don't like th PS2 controller and can't believe that Sony didn't come up with something new... more refined.

One way or another: Microsoft has to act! Either get some 'good' Japanese games developed (personally I think they suck soooooo much, but then again I live in Europe) or put all the unsold Japanese X360s on an airplane, reconfigure them and sell them in US / Europe.

However I think the problem is not just with the Japanese games. I think the Japanese are just more likely to buy Japanese-made hardware and games than US-made stuff. (No one cares they're all made by 5 year-olds in China anyways, *sighs).

Same goes for the Americans... Anything with the stars and stripes on it is better by definition. Well, (close your eyes, it's gonna get ugly) IT IS NOT! Wake up! The US is bankrupt, the dollar is worth a-hole!! Not that this has anything to do with the topic, I just felt the need to rant about it! Excuse me for losing my head... ;-) Peace!

I meant I could NOT see why they'd use the D3 engine...
