I'm feeling lazy so I copied and pasted this from another article. Sorry in advance:
"Sorry, I'm gonna rant now.
damn it rentaro. You just don't get it, along with everyone who repeats that same bullshit. It's not simply about more consoles, more people get to enjoy it. It's also about quality.
When a game becomes multiplatform, the development time has to get divided up between the consoles. That's why Final Fantasy 13 got so gimped. It barely has anything that made past Final Fantasy games memorable (exploration, side quests, etc.) FF series was moving forward with the gameplay design with FF12 (although I didn't like that story much), but made a complete 180 with FF13. I'm sure you and many others can still remember the original Final Fantasy 13 gameplay trailer with Lightning running all over the place kicking ass. Compared to what could have been, FF13's current gameplay is garbage. I'm sure it can still be addictive, but nothing new at all. In fact, it looks unbelievably tacky. That gameplay design was most likely cut, NOT because the 360 couldn't handle it, but having to make a port on the 360 must have taken up considerable developement time, which includes the time it took for SE to develop an engine that would allow them to port the game. It was just too ambitious for a multiplatform game.
FF13 just as an exclusive was going to be a big enough and time consuming project. Of course major cuts have to be made when you add another platform to the mix. Most of the PS3 owners were disappointed about losing FF13 exclusivity not only because they didn't want to share the wealth. It's because realistically, the quality of the game would have to be compromised when making it for additional consoles. Considering the type of open world this game could have had and all its content, it also doesn't help at all that the other console uses an older generation storage medium. It could still work, but that will also take more time. The same can be said about 360 exclusives that may not play or look as well had they been multiplatform. Look at Alan Wake. It only took them 6 years? Imagine how that pretty game would have looked going multiplatform with the same development time.
I think you get my point. Development for one console, regardless if it's your console of choice would always result in a more polished game. Please don't bring up the exceptions to the rules, like Lair and that Free Radical game I can't remember the name of."
Since the date I posted this back in march, I have clocked in about 90 hours of gameplay for final fantasy 13. Sad, I know. It still definitely kicks butt. Aside from some cheezy dialogue, I somewhat missed the characters after the ending, and would have liked an epilogue. Anyway,I can only imagine how much more butt it would've kicked if development resources didn't have to get divided between platforms. Thanks for reading. Sorry if i came off mean-spirited.
I'm pretty sure he's mocking teabaggers, which I'm always in support of. If what he's saying accurately reflects the views of teabaggers, then yeah, i would agree they're effing messed up hypocrites.
Considering how I usually see liberal views upvoted more than conservative ones here, I have a feeling the liberals didn't notice Leobebes sarcasm, and conservatives did, hence why he's at half a heart.

I nearly asked for my 360 back from my cousin, so i can set it up in my living room JUST to stream netflix. However, there's no ethernet cable going to the living room, and I did not have a gold membership.
What a nice coincidence that this news came up. So instead of wasting money on a new gold membership and an overpriced wifi adapter, i have a new excuse to buy a second PS3, that I can also use for blu-rays and games of course. The PS3 is such a better value.
I'll tell my cousin to send netflix a thank you email.
